Online counselling for what you are carrying
COUNSELLING WITH TRIBE WELLNESS
You do not need a diagnosis, a crisis or a perfectly worded reason to begin. Josh offers LGBTQ+ affirming counselling for adults who want to understand what is happening, feel less alone in it and find a way forward that fits their life.
You can start without having the words
Many people arrive knowing only that something feels difficult, flat, heavy or stuck. The first sessions can be used to understand what is happening and what you want from counselling. Josh will not ask you to arrive with a diagnosis or a fixed plan.
Topics you can bring to counselling
You do not need to have the right words, a clear diagnosis or one specific problem before reaching out. You might be navigating a major change, feeling disconnected from yourself, struggling in your relationships or simply knowing that something does not feel right. Whatever is happening, we can begin with what feels most present for you.
LGBTQIA+ identity and coming out
Explore sexuality, gender, labels, belonging, coming out or the choice not to come out.
Depression and low mood
Make space for numbness, hopelessness, withdrawal, exhaustion and the sense that life has become smaller.
Shame and self-worth
Examine the messages that taught you to hide, perform or believe that parts of you were unacceptable.
Life transitions and identity change
Move through career changes, relocation, relationship changes, grief, ageing or a shift in how you see yourself.
Anxiety and overthinking
Work with worry, hypervigilance, panic, social anxiety and the pressure to anticipate what could go wrong.
Relationships and intimacy
Look at communication, trust, rejection, closeness, conflict, dating and patterns that repeat.
Therapy for gay men
Discuss self-worth, performance pressure, body image, masculinity, relationships, intimacy and belonging.
Loneliness and disconnection
Explore feeling alone, disconnected from community or unable to let people know the full version of you.
Minority stress and discrimination
Process the cumulative impact of bias, exclusion, unsafe environments and constant decisions about disclosure.
Burnout and identity exhaustion
Understand the cost of over-functioning, people-pleasing, code-switching and carrying too much for too long.
Choose the topic that feels closest, or start with a conversation
